2019 Public Taiji Class Schedule

Happy New Year!

Coming Events for 2019:

  • New Location For Friday’s 8AM Class, see below.
  • New Class at UH starts this summer
  • Chinese New Year Celebration at Maui Mall. I’ll be first on again doing Taiji and then again after the lion dance to do Taiji Sword and Wudang Kung Fu Sword.
  • Master Dong’s Honolulu Workshop. February 15th to the 20th.

Currently there are 12 public classes each week.

Note…Long Form” is Dong Style, very much like Yang Style and “Slow Form” is Hao Style, a rare and powerful, yet subtle form that is also well suited for beginners.

Winter – Spring 2019 Schedule:

Sunday, Haiku, at or near my home on Kokomo Road, for current students only:  See me personally for details.

  • Mixed Marital and Healing Arts  4:00 to 5:30 PM

 Lahaina, the West Maui Senior Center on Lahainaluna street.

  • Long Form  Taiji  9:00 to 10:00 AM
  • Slow Form  Taiji  10:00 to 11:00 AM
  • Qigong, Nei Gong/Meditation   11:30 to 1:00 PM



Kahului, at the “Hui Aloha area” inside Keopulani park.

  •  Taiji    9:00 to 10:00 AM

Sprecklesville, at the Kaunoa Senior Center (55+ seniors only)

  • Long Form  Taiji  11:15 to 12:15 PM
  • Slow Form  Taiji  12:30 to 1:30 PM



Kihei, Wailea area on the public lawn north of the Surf Side Resort

  • Qigong and Taiji    1.5hr, 8:00 to 9:30 AM

Kihei, at Kalama Heights retirement home in the “Billiard Room” Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • Qigong and Taiji, Healing Arts   10:00 to 11:00 AM



Sprecklesville, at the Kaunoa Senior Center (seniors only)

  • Understanding Qigong  Theory and practice 11:15 to 12:15 PM
  • Nei Gong, Internal Qigong  Sitting exercise & meditation 12:30 to 1:30 PM


Friday, Kihei, Wailea area on the public lawn north of the Surf Side Resort

  • Taiji    8:00 to 9:00 AM

    Glad to see you are continuing to teach. I truly enjoyed my class experiences in Maui with your tremendous knowledge and experience of Taiji and Qi Gong, It is wonderful that you are still passing the wisdom along to help so many and the Island too.

  2. We went to a couple nei gong classes this month & are on wait list for November. However, we’d like to invite you, if possible some time, to appear on our KAKU radio show called Off the Record. It’s Tues/Thur 11-noon. Maybe during some break in your classes…..If you’re interested, we’ll be glad to send more details. Mahalo for all you do
