Explore the beauty of qigong and dance with the movement of the cosmos.

Come and join me at the beach in North Kihei for Qigong Practice Thursday mornings 6:00 to 8:30 and Monday evenings at 5:30 to 7:30 at “Mai Poina ‘Oe Ia’u” (Forget Me Not) Park. This beautiful park is dedicated to Maui’s veterans that gave their lives for our freedom; it is located across from Makani Kai Beach Villas on Kihei road. There is ample shade even until 10:00, the beach is great and there is a beautiful lawn and picnic area. I tend to gravitate towards the south end of the park or even slightly down the beach from there. This park is walking distance from my current home, so if you do not see my vehicle, I will still be there just FYI.

I will be practicing various qigong methods, spontaneous and forms and meditations; sitting, standing, moving and still. All the myriad  qigong skills I know will be done at sometime during these sessions. The focus is primarily on qigong, not Taiji or Gong fu, although only Tao knows what will happen.  There will probably not be much teaching going on, there are other times for that! Most people can learn by just doing, and I promise you, whatever level you are at, it will be awesome.

Meditation is the first thing in the morning session and last thing in the evening one.  Show up anytime while I am there, no need to be “on time” this is totally avant-garde; all you need to bring is a good attitude! Maybe you could bring a snack to share at our halfway tea break, or not.

Practice, calm the mind and body, awaken the soul, let your spirit find oneness with all things.

no charge…

  1. Wow! These beach sessions sound wonderful. Wish I lived in Kihei. Maybe one day you could do it in Lahaina on the West side. Happy New Year!
